MAKO Freeform Active™ Lenses
The MAKO Freeform Active™ lens is the latest in digital freeform lens design, specifically developed for high wrap, but as effective in non-wrap frames. Every lens in both single and progressive designs are individually calculated to ensure absolute minimum distortion and aberrations throughout the lens surface. For Progressive lenses, this means the optimal corridor length for the frame when combined with you prescription and fitting height measurements.
For Single Vision, the MAKO Freeform Active™ design technology optimizes the field of vision to provide clear, wide and distortion-free vision.
Our diverse range of lens materials enables your optometrist to tailor a prescription product to best suit your requirements.

Prescription Lens Colour Choices
Polarised Grey
Neutral colour reproduction with excellent glare reduction. Perfect for high-brightness environments such as offshore fishing, driving, and general outdoor activities.
Polarised Brown
Enhances contrast, colour reproduction, and depth perception. Ideal for water sports, estuary/sight fishing, and any situation where high contrast is needed.
Polarised Grey-Green
Provides natural colour reproduction and even colour transmission. A comfortable all-round lens for general outdoor use.
Polarised Drivewear™
An adaptive lens that adjusts to suit changing conditions. Unlike photochromic lenses, Drivewear™ responds to visible light and activates behind a windscreen. With over 50% variation in light transmission, this lens is extremely versatile—excellent for driving, cycling, golf, and freshwater fishing. Transitions from yellow in low light to a rich brown in bright conditions.
Polarised Glass – Rose Green Mirror (G2H5)
Ideal for those seeking superior scratch resistance. The G2H5 lens offers a rose filter with a green mirror and high colour contrast, making it excellent for flats, reef, inshore, and freshwater fishing. Also great for all-day driving, boating, and golf. Comes standard with MAKO’s proprietary HD technology.
Polarised Glass – Grey (G0HR)
Provides outstanding scratch durability with neutral colour reproduction, strong colour saturation, and excellent glare reduction. Perfect for high-brightness settings such as offshore fishing, driving, and outdoor activities. Includes MAKO’s proprietary HD technology.
